Will I receive a diamond grading certificate, commonly referred to as an Appraisal?
An unbiased report from a third party about your diamond quality and cut should come with any significant purchase of jewellery, especially in the case of an engagement ring. This report or certificate verifies that you have a genuine diamond with the quality characteristics specified during the sales process, and that the true value is accurate. As well, in order to receive insurance coverage, you often need a Ring Appraisal. This appraisal is sent off to your insurance company in order to receive coverage in case of loss, theft or damage.

What If she does not like the ring design?
It is important, and in fact, crucial that she absolutely loves the ring. After all, she will be wearing it the rest of her life. For this reason alone, if your ring does not come with a "She has to love it or we will redesign it for you" policy, then be careful. At Jeff Walters Diamonds, not only will we gladly exchange her ring for a different design, we will even redesign a custom ring from scratch, at no extra cost to you.
This policy is very comforting to most men.
Service is so important.
Ask the right questions before you buy. What will the jeweller do if the diamond becomes loose, or falls on the floor and needs to be reset? Who pays the costs and for how long? What about scratches? How will you keep the ring clean and sparkly? Who pays for a lost shoulder diamond?
Asking these questions will help you get an impression of the jeweller you are about to do business with.
At Jeff Walters Diamonds, we live by a general motto, which states: If you have a problem with your jewellery, it gives us the opportunity to show you exactly what type of jeweller we are.
We'll take care of you, beginning to end.
